H.I.V.E., or the Hydroxygen Infusion-Valve Electrolyser, is a compact water-powered hydroxygen (or oxyhydrogen, AKA HHO) supply system. This system functions at one hundred cc/m and uses galvanised steel plates (shown in the top right) to heat water (with some alkalies to improve conductivity), and separate the water into two hydrogens and one oxygen in the two 1/4" canals in the plates. The hydrogen is attracted toward the canal with a negative charge and the oxygen to the positively charged canal. These gases go to another design in this portfolio, W.A.S.P. (Water-based Automatic Syringe Pressuriser). This unit intakes the hydrogen and oxygen from H.I.V.E through the blue plastic intake fittings. Using the compression spring as a downward force and the silicone gasket around the plunger to increase friction, the pressure builds in the chamber. These gases outlet to the brass welding fittings, which outlet to valves. After adequate pressure is built, the valves are opened and the gases outlet to a gas mixer and flashback arrestor of one's choosing. The function is to provide a quiet and efficient method of producing a highly combustive combination of gases for anything from high-heat welding to prop-flamethrowers. Originally, my designs focused mainly on function. I then took a sheer fluid and white plastic form approach, including outlet holes for the hosing and an ARGBW neo-pixel light.
