Go Home, Annie Scenic Design

My high school's 2022 fall play was an original take on "Antigone" written by a former student. As the scenic designer, I was tasked with creating a set that encapsulated our town, where it is set. The centrepiece, a statue-turned-trophy case, was derived from the monument we have on our town square. The grid of panels in front of the cyclorama has the exact dimensions of the windows outside our school, as the play is set in a high school. After modelling the set in Autodesk Fusion 360, we started production. We found the production process much smoother because we had exact dimensions to derive from the 3D model.
